A phone call at 05:30 hours from one of my astronomy club friends urging me to get out of bed and shoot the moon resulted in these images.
Trapsing about in my nightshirt and down jacket was definitely not a fashion statement.
All in all, it was a very spectacular sight with the moon, Venus and the star 28 Sagittarii just south of Venus.
